RATTLESNAKE RENDEZVOUS
A 3-Day Stone age Living Skills Workshop
Sunole/Ohlone Regional Wilderness, CA (East Bay Regional Park District)
www.ebparks.org
Travel far back in time and join our intrepid band of primitives for a weekend of Stone Age living skills. Aside from modern sleeping gear and clothing, we will attempt to experience as closely as possible the rigors and satisfactions of living in the old ways. We’ll free ourselves from our dependence on machines, and find much of what we need in the natural world. Experience fire starting, flint knapping, cordage, cooking over an open fire (no metal pots, pans or grills allowed), tracking, bead making, storytelling, music around the campfire, and so much more!
Campers are responsible for their own meals and camping gear a detailed letter will be mailed out.
(Workshop put on by Cat Taylor and the Society for Primitive Technology)
Registration Required: 1-888-EBPARKS or
online at www.ebparks.org/webreg
Dates: Saturday, May 29 (9 am) to Monday, May 31 (Ends at 2 pm)
Fee: $90/Adult; $45/Child (non-res.$102/$51). Parking fee may apply.
